What a helluva week.
It can be summed up by ...
Great Friends, Asbury Park Guinness Oyster Fest, Blueberry Ice Cream, Frederick Maryland, Tequila, Great Friends,
Inebriated Sniffing and Boobie Inspecting, Pulled Pork, Making New Friends, The Fair and Birthing Tents,
Sheep With GIGANTIC HUMONGOUS BALLS
Fried Pickles, Fried Oreos, Fried Cheese, Fried Apple Dumplings, Fried Foot Long Corn Dogs,
Tequila, Demolition Derby (FUCK YEAH), Roachclips with Feathers as Fashion Accessories,
Seeing a Mulawk (I didn't think it was possible but you can combine a mullet with a mohawk)
Wrasslin' With Pit Bulls, Great Friends, NYC, Chinatown,
Urban Vinyl Toys, Great Old Friends, Black Sesame Ice Cream, Skulls and Freeze Dried Cats, Re-Finding Awesome Lotus and Black Bean Mooncakes,
and the topper...enjoying a hot bowl of daikon, tripe and duck feet.
Ah, life is good

ok, no really the duck feet have me creeped out... of course you ate them... and what the hell is daikon?

Daikon is a kind of radish, rather tame compared to the other ingredients. The feet were really good except for all the tiny little bones in the toes. The webbing was the best.

What the heck happened with Jamie? she was gone like the Lone Ranger except instead of a bullet she just left a note that said Thank You.

you know she was doing that polite in a hurry try not to wake you guys up thingy... you and i both know women are weird!

she doesn't wrap until 11:30 tonight then she has to drive the 5 hours back and get up at 6am for the next job... gonna suck! but she is making a killing in overtime!

Jeez! I thought maybe they wrapped early and she was headed home. If she needs a place to crash for a couple hours she's welcome to a pitstop.
I wish I had the energy you guys have. I went to bed at 8 yesterday.

thank god ed had that in manhattan... i was nowhere near the feet... no tequila for me this time... lots o beer. tequila with ed makes me play/sing/dance to bad german techno music.... "everybody tie your shooooeesssss"....

Jonny avoided the tequila (he stuck to Pabst) and the duck feet were in NYC. So he lucked out.
He did have the fried pickles...I think. We also brought scrapple but never got a chance to make it for them :(
When you come, we can take you guys for duck feet if you want...actually it was a super awesome dim sum place.

Come to think of it, the fried pickles were right across from the birthing tent...ewwwww.
Nuthin like eatin' a cheesesteak while looking at a cow and a guy is announcing "well now you can see there is going to be some mucus"

I will have to get scrapple for you guys...it's like bacon deliciousness times 10.

Oddly the duck feet and tripe reminded me of fried tofu skin.Kinda made me think that I could be getting this flavor in a much healthier way.

hm, sounds like you were in the middle of the 'circle of life' right there :)

Just looked up scrapple-I think I got a clogged artery just reading about it...so it's like porkmeatloaf?
Doesn't sound convincingly delicious when the word 'mush' is used in the description, haha!
Although vegetarian scrapple just seems to miss the point, don't it?

hmmm, yeah...it seems like if you're going for a fried tofu skin texture and flavor that probably would be the healthier way to go about it, haha!
But not nearly as interesting looking as the duck foot, or is it an old lady hand? hmmmm
