What a great lil' afternoon. Drove into Philly and met up with vampirepig13 and went to the Mutter Museum. I coulda spent the whole day in there just looking at the pickled punks and wax models of eye diseases. Oddly the cross sections of heads made me crave head cheese or a tongue sandwich. We also learned that syphilis will fuck you up baaaaaaaaaaaaaad and if you had a prolapsed uterus pre-1900's the medical options were pretty gnarley.
Now the next museum day trip is gonna have to be to the Frazetta Museum. Ooh, I gots goose pimples just thinkin' about that one.

Well, start gettin' pregnant and abortin'.
There I go again, saying inappropriate things.
I'll chalk that one up to the Thai coffee, mister.

Neat-O!
Did you see the giant colon?
That was another highlite of the trip :) They said that they removed several buckets of feces out of it. The guy must've had some pretty strong legs to be carrying all that extra dookie around.
Ive always wanted to see a pickeled punk.. or any other human marvel (Or Freaks, trying to be PC here). You'll have tot ell me where the place is in Philly.. I'm moving to east central PA this coming summer, so its somewhere I definately want to visit!
Warmisnter. A train away from Philly.
y'see, I'd want to bring the little lady to this thing, but I'm afraid she'd. you know. Vomit. on me.
You'll be just as close to New Hope Pa as the Mutter so you'll have to take your chickie there. It's a cute town on the Hudson that has some quirky/cool shops (occult, fetish, armor, vintage clothing, candy, books, etc). On the opposite side of the Hudson within walking distance is a a town that's all antique shops and bistros. There will be no fear of puking either. | |
